UBER & LYFT Workers “We Made You”! Drivers Fed Up With Abuse & Rip-offs In San Francisco

As UBER and Lyft announce IPO’s that will make executives and owners billions of dollars, the drivers rallied on December 10, 2018 in San Francisco at City Hall and later marched to UBER’s world headquarters to protest slave labor conditions and discrimination without due process. Drivers said UBER and Lyft were charging large amounts and the workers were being shortchanged by UBER and Lyft as they cut their percentages making it impossible to make a living. Drivers end up being in their cars for 16 hours and more with no bathrooms and health and safety protections. The workers also charged that the companies control the city and state regulators who refuse to enforce health and safety regulations for the many thousands of workers who drive for these companies and millions of workers in the US and around the world.
